We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in an early childhood education setting. Your expertise will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's unique needs are met through innovative teaching strategies and personalized support. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Ohio Early Learning Standards
- Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Lead and support Assistant Teachers
- Maintain classroom documentation and licensing requirements
- Build strong partnerships with families
- Ensure compliance with ODJFS health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Meets Ohio ODJFS Lead Teacher requirements CPL 2 or higher
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 2 years experience as lead or CDA or Associates degree in ECE or related field
- Experience with Creative Curriculum and Step Up to Quality (STUQ) a plus
- Classroom experience in a licensed childcare center
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Starting Salary: $17-$19 per hour
