Under general supervision, the Sign Language Interpreter provides interpretation, transliteration and advocacy services to deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, makes referrals and provides information as requested. Seeking Full or Part- time and PRN interpreters residing in or around Richland, Ashland, Crawford, Seneca, Huron, Marion, Morrow, Knox and Wyandot counties for assignments in those counties or those surrounding counties.
Associates degree in interpretation training required; knowledgeable and fluent in American Sign Language, Signed English; valid Ohio Driver's license with acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance. Must provide own transportation and be able to work flexible hours.
- Ability to type 60 wpm
- Occasional on call hours may be required.
- Pre- employment drug screen and BCII required
