JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.

03/25/26 to 11/15/26. Plant, plot, weed, prune, care, hand pick, pack,thin blueberries, strawberries, apples and nursery plants.
Able to lift and carry 75 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. Requires 1 month of verifiable agricultural harvesting work experience. Minimum $13.78/hour guarantee, 35 hours a week. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost. 3/4 working days guaranteed. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return transportation refunded if the worker terminates the contract. Housing provided at no cost to the workers who cannot reasonably return to own residency daily. In the event a female worker is hired, employer will provide sperate sleeping, bathing and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All testing will occur post-hire and is not a part of the interview process. Negative results may be required post-hire and before commencing work. Work Conditions apply.In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business. Fruit is to be field packed as they are hand harvesting the fruit.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE:Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
