Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 1 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 75 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen.


 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.

Botello Harvesting LLC, 2 temporary farm helpers for West Olive, MI 04/27/26 to 02/24/27. Maintain the health and wellbeing of the cattle including monitoring the cattle during both fall and spring calving seasons. Cut, bale, pick up bales, transport, unload, stack, and storage during and bale hay season. Their duties would also include clearing fence rows, clean/repair farm buildings and fences, moving fences for rotational grazing, or anything to assist with the cattle herd. Must be able to operate some farm equipment such as tractors, post hole diggers, small power tools, and hand tools. May examine animals for signs of illness and administer vaccines, medications, and insecticides according to instructions. May assist in calving, trailing, branding, castrating, sorting, and loading on to trucks for transport to a new range or market. Able to lift and carry 75 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. Requires 1 month of verifiable agricultural harvesting work experience. Minimum $13.78/hour guarantee, 35 hours a week for U.S. and H-2A workers. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost. 3/4 working days guaranteed. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return transportation refunded if the worker terminates the contract. Housing provided at no cost to the workers who cannot reasonably return to own residency daily. In the event a female worker is hired, employer will provide sperate sleeping, bathing and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:

BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.

TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).

WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.

TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
