Job Overview:



The Senior Process Engineer, CPG is responsible for facilitating the development and optimization of end-to-end business processes for custom product offerings, spanning quote requests to front end engineering through production, shipment and invoicing. This role works in close collaboration with established line leadership across the value stream and within the existing Lean team.



The position focuses on facilitating continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and managing production systems across software, automation, equipment, and all data platforms to improve quality, throughput, and operational efficiency across multiple facilities, all in support of customer drivenobjectives.



Objectives:




* Develop and document process flows for new and future custom product offerings, spanning front end engineering, production, and finished goods shipping.


* Support production personnel by providing guidance on equipment operation and maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering technical support while driving long term improvements and fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.


* Provide technical support for inquiries from sales and customer service teams related to production processes and capabilities.


* Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance automation and data management services.


* Work within established value streams and actively soliciting ideas from all roles to achieve buy in and consensus.


* Think ahead by documenting workflows and anticipating potential issues and opportunities before they arise, proposing practical solutions.


* Consider the impact of process changes across all departments and functions by understanding their roles, anticipating cross functional tension, and mitigating it through solutions that balance organizational needs while prioritizing the end customer.


* Proactively communicate with division leadership to implement cost-effective programs and ensure leaders understand the what, why, and when of changes.



Responsibilities:




* Initiate and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across all CPG operations, including CRM, ERP, customer portals, file creation/storage, data management, software automation, production equipment, and related processes at the Cleveland and Cincinnati facilities.


* Establish, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processes, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
