Support IT development, system enhancements and portfolio support of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications. Duties include providing direction and leading projects working with global business teams and outsourcing vendors. Coordinating activities and projects with other departments, reporting progress, keeping projects schedules and communicating with customers to understand requirements of systems dealing with Automobiles, Power Sports Vehicles, and Power Equipment Products. Ensure stable operations and promote Best Practices for the integrations of PLM applications with other engineering tools such Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) or Computer Aided Testing (CAT). Identify PLM application function requirements, application performance requirements and systems integrations specifications that shorten the product development cycle and ensure innovative products. Administer PLM applications and handle software licensing, application configuration, maintenance, and system administration. Meet with software vendors to understand the gaps between requirements and out-of-the-box functionalities. Establish solid and robust strategies to bridge the gaps with cost-effective customizations. Define system and application support metrics and use such metrics to monitor support quality and performance. Implement measures to meet quality and performance goals.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; 5 years of relevant professional exp; 5 years of practical experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain; 5 years of experience with Enterprise PLM Applications (DS 3DExperience, ARAS or similar PLM platform); 5 years of experience in Enovia V6 functional and development knowledge and Enovia V6 PLM architecture; 5 years of experience in Enovia V6 PLM solution implementation using Engineering BOM, requirements, change and variant management; 5 years of Project Management experience in PLM domain; and 5 years of experience with Agile Development methodologies.
