Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and building scalable data management systems, data modeling, and data integration and a proven ability to deliver reliable data pipelines, predictive models, and high-quality datasets that meet business and industry requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
* Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
* Ensure systems meet business requirements and align with industry practices.
* Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
* Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
* Create custom software components and analytics applications.
* Research new uses for existing data to drive business outcomes.
* Employ multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools to connect systems.
* Collaborate with data architects, IT, and data scientists to achieve project goals.
* Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
* Recommend improvements to enhance data reliability and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
* Experience programming and/or architecting backend services using Java or J2EE.
* Knowledge of data mining practices, algorithms, and data usage patterns.
* Technical degree or related work experience.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with data pipeline orchestration and integration tools.
* Familiarity with distributed data processing ecosystems.
