JOB TITLE: LABORER

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 120 DAYS

HOURLY RATE: $ 21.44 / 22.69

Must be willing to obtain (or already possess) a CDL during the probationary period. Training provided.

DUTIES: Performs various unskilled and semi-skilled duties in the construction, maintenance, and repair of county roads and bridges. Overtime necessary for snow control operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to perform outdoor, year-round physical labor. Equipment operation experience helpful but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NECESSARY TO PERFORM DUTIES: Knowledge and observation of safety practices and procedures, operation of trucks and other necessary equipment and tools, ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, and picture form, cooperate with co-workers, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
