The Opportunity
The Logan County Engineer’s Office is now accepting applications for Seasonal Dump Truck Drivers. Join our team for the 2026 summer season and help us maintain the infrastructure of Logan County. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for local, seasonal work with a steady daytime schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is the safe operation of county dump trucks to haul stone, asphalt, and other materials to various job sites throughout the county.
Working Hours & Conditions
- Flexibility: Drivers will typically work no more than 40 hours per week.
- Weather-Dependent: Because our operations are weather-sensitive, daily schedules and weekly hours may vary based on rain or the completion of specific project phases for the day.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with a valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Must live within 36 minutes of 1991 CR 13, Bellefontaine, OH 43311 Bellefontaine for emergency response.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and license verification.
