Job Description:
The Hotel Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures positive guest experience by delivering high standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and amenities
· Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs/showers, and mirrors
· Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, coffee/tea items, and paper products
· Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly
· Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
· Follow hotel cleaning standards, procedures, and safety guidelines
· Assist with laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens (if required)
· Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly
· Support cleaning of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and service rooms
· Ensure all assigned rooms meet hotel quality and cleanliness expectations
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years or older
· Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
· Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining cleanliness standards
Work Environment:
· Weekend availability required
· Weekday schedule 9:00am until finished
· Weekend schedule 10:00am until finished
· Hours vary depending on occupancy
