Location: Ridgeville Corners, OH (some travel required)
Travel: Occasional travel for trade shows, client visits, and conferences
Schedule: 8 am – 5 pm (Monday through Friday)
Overview
We are seeking a proactive and driven Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support and lead EHS initiatives across assigned facilities. This role serves as the primary day-to-day EHS contact, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering training, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced EHS professional who is highly organized, comfortable working cross-functionally, and confident leading safety programs and investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main day-to-day EHS contact for assigned locations/facilities
- Provide EHS policy and procedure training for employees
- Assist with safety compliance for assigned locations
- Manage and administer the electronic EHS Management System
- Lead accident investigations and associated root-cause analysis investigations for assigned locations
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding occupational safety
- Support continuous improvement of EHS programs and initiatives
- Partner with operations and leadership to promote a positive safety culture
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and reporting
- Perform additional EHS-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar EHS position
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a combination of education and relevant experience
- OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 helpful
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to speak confidently in front of large groups
- Self-motivated, driven, and positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
