Job Title: Lead Automotive Technician (ASE Certified)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong diagnostic abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. As a Lead Technician, you will oversee daily shop operations, mentor junior technicians, and ensure efficient, accurate vehicle repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Lead and support a team of technicians to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Review and verify repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
- Assist in training and mentoring entry-level technicians
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- ASE Certification (Master Technician preferred)
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with shop management or workflow coordination
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and modern vehicle systems
- OEM certifications are a plus
