The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. 

Our Merchandise department is currently seeking part-time, Merchandise Crew who are passionate about learning new 

things and giving our guests the best possible experience. Come and be a part of an organization where you can work and 

have fun at the same time! 

This role is responsible for checking in merchandise, stocking shelves, operating registers, and delivering top customer 

service to our members and guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to approach 

guests in a positive manner and can work well independently as well as with a team. 

This position is a non-exempt, part-time position under the Fair Labor Standards Act. 

Minimum Training & Qualifications: 

 Work schedules may include evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. 

 Must have the physical ability to lift 35 pounds, work on your feet, and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for 

several hours at a time. 

 Individuals may also be exposed to inclement weather conditions such as heat in the summer or low temperatures 

in the winter at the outdoor stands. 

 Retail sales and Counterpoint Register System experience is a plus! 

 The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana.
