Direct Support Professionals are responsible for the direct care of individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. This includes providing education, training, support and advocacy services, and empowering individuals with Developmental Disabilities to exercise their rights and responsibilities as citizens of the community. Duties are performed based on the assessed level of need and contract services for personal care tasks. Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED, limited work for age 16+ pre HS Diploma; pass BCI/FBI background check, CPR/FA, valid DL and insured vehicle for transport.
