Production Handler

Job Summary: The purpose of the Production Handler is to handle inspected parts while maintaining a safe work environment.

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing or injection molding preferred

Physical Requirements: Lifting as required.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure a safe work area and work habits.

• Make sure all safety rules are followed.

• Empty production inspected parts into the box.

• Filling out daily production sheets.

• Following procedures related to the safe operation of machinery and/or equipment during operation, routine maintenance, tool changeover, and repair.

• Housekeeping in the work area.

• Shut the press down in case of an emergency.

• Notify supervisor of production problems or safety hazards.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
