JOB DUTIES
• Oversee All Fiscal and Benefits Functions
• Develop, Implement, and Oversee All Agency Policies Pertinent to Fiscal Functions
• Ensure Policies Comply with All Federal, State, and Local Regulations
• Directly Supervisor All Fiscal Staff
• Oversee Staff Training
• Assign and Monitor Subordinates’ Work
• Interpret Policies and Procedures
• Implement Discipline as Necessary
• Approve/Deny Staff Leave Requests
• Prepare and Compile Agency Budget and Projections
• Monitors Payroll Costs, Estimates, and Cost Pools
• Projects Payroll Costs to Include in Annual Budget
• Monitor Operating Budget and Provide Budget Info to Management
• Maintain Expenditures
• Reconcile Budget with the State and the County Auditor
• Responsible for All Fiscal, Budget, and Auditing Duties for JFS
• Oversee/Determine IV-E Eligibility
• Supervise Fiscal Staff over CPS Programs
• Assist Children’s Service Staff with CPS Program Eligibility
• Assist with SACWIS Issues and Service Authorizations, Placement Contracts, Court Docs etc. as Related to Program Eligibility and Placement Costs
• Act as Liaison with Federal, State, and Local Officials
• Ability to Meet Strict Deadlines
• Demonstrate Superb Organization and Attention to Detail
• Display a Collaborative Nature to Ensure JFS Operations Run Efficiently
WAGE
• Starting at $28.02/hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Completion of undergraduate major core coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or human resources. Also requires three years experience in a position involving fiscal or budgeting responsibilities and human resources duties, and one year of supervisory experience.
•OR three courses or eighteen months experience in accounting, three courses or eighteen months experience in finance, two courses or twelve months experience in business administration, one course or six months experience in written communications for business, one course or six months experience in public relations, one course or six months experience in human resources, and one course or six months experience in typing, keyboarding, or word processing to include generating a spreadsheet. Also requires three years experience in a position involving fiscal or budgeting responsibilities and human resources duties, and one year of supervisory experience.
•OR education, training, and/or experience in an amount equal to the minimum qualifications stated above.
• Must have Valid Driver’s License and Remain Insurable Under County Insurance
