Industrial Maintenance Technician - Akron, OH - Job 26-00246
Pay Range: $28.00 - $40.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is assisting a manufacturing company in the Akron, Ohio area that is seeking a high-level Industrial Maintenance Technician / Master Mechanic who will be a key player in designing, constructing, and optimizing automated production systems.
Core Responsibilities
• Automated Machinery: Troubleshoot and repair metal de-coilers, automated stamping presses, feedlines, industrial machinery, (electric & gas) tow motors…
• Robotics & Welding: Maintain, program, and repair (MIG/Argon/spot) robotic welding machinery
• Systems Expertise: Full-spectrum maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems
• Innovation & Design: Construct mechanical and electronic mechanisms for machinery upgrades and assist in new product development
• Facility & Fleet: Manage power distribution, facility plumbing, and service a fleet of electric and propane tow motors
• Vendor Management: Coordinate sophisticated repairs with outside service vendors and maintain inter-departmental communication
Requirements
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on industrial electrical and mechanical facilities and machine maintenance
• Education: High School diploma, (Vocational/Technical School or Machinist training certificate is a plus)
• Skills: Schematic reading, manual/powered tool proficiency, and stick welding
• Autonomy: Ability to test, troubleshoot, repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, & pneumatic equipment and lead projects without supervision
• Knowledge: Robotic machinery controls knowledge is highly preferred
