Radiance Technologies is seeking a HR Generalist in Dayton, OH. The HR Generalist will work closely with the management and HR team to support employee-owners across the entire company. This position requires a proven ability to collaborate with senior staff, build effective partnerships, and communicate information at all levels. Applicants must have a strong customer-service driven mindset with a desire to create a supportive and welcoming environment for all.

Duties include:


  • Conduct and facilitate onboarding process for new employees, working closely with management to support a smooth transition for new hires
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all required documentation and tasks
  • Utilize Workday HRIS to process employment and personnel actions
  • Administer termination process, including capturing documentation, conducting exit interviews, and offboarding communication
  • Manage and track employee leave, including FMLA, disability, military, and other leave types, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
  • Complete verifications of employment and background check requests
  • Engage in process improvement measures and process documentation
  • Participate in the coordination and planning of employee engagement and company culture initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with document retention policies and data privacy standards
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Required Experience


  • 5+ years demonstrated HR experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR regulations, practices, procedures, and programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and to organize workload to ensure that short timelines are met given frequent interruptions
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data management

Required Education


  • Bachelor’s degree

Desired Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience as a HR generalist or business partner
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Compensation experience in areas such as total rewards, benchmarking, and market analysis
  • Leadership skills and a passion for creating trustworthy relationships
  • Experience with the DOD, Federal, or Defense Industry sectors
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) or similar certification
  • Experience with Workday HRIS
