The Yard/Equipment Maintenance CST is responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by loading and unloading rental equipment, maintaining the yard, loading and unloading trucks, washing equipment, and utilizing the tools provided safely and efficiently. 

Responsibilities: 

• Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments. 
• Maintain the organization of the yard and ensure the smooth flow of equipment and freight operations.  
• Safely load and unload freight from trucks and other transportation vehicles using appropriate equipment and procedures. 
• Maintain a well-organized yard and warehouse by arranging equipment and freight in designated areas and ensuring easy access for transportation vehicles. 
• Operate forklift, skid loader, and other equipment to move and transport freight within the yard and warehouse. 
• Attention to detail in washing equipment. 
• Perform routine inspection on equipment, report any malfunctions or damage. 
• Preserve a safe, clean, and organized workspace environment.  
• Provide friendly, professional, and informative interaction with clients, and address concerns and issues promptly and effectively. 
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards. 
• All other duties and tasks assigned by management. 

Qualifications

• This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. 
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 40 pounds regularly. 
• Prolonged periods of lifting, sitting, standing, stooping, and bending. 
• Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in person and via documentation. 
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively. 
• Adaptability in various weather conditions.
