Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Solar Electrician to join our team. In this role, you'll handle the electrical scope of residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage installations, working independently and with integrity on every job. If you're a licensed electrician who's passionate about renewable energy and ready to bring your expertise to a mission-driven company, we'd love to hear from you.


Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations for solar PV and battery storage systems, including AC/DC wiring, conduit runs, panel connections, and system commissioning
  • Ensure all electrical work meets NEC standards, local codes, and ARP Solar's quality and safety requirements
  • Work independently on job sites while maintaining clear communication with project managers and installation teams
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues as needed
  • Document work accurately using company platforms
  • Model and enforce safe electrical practices on every job site at all times

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized electrical apprenticeship program required
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
  • Experience with solar PV systems and battery storage strongly preferred
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • NABCEP certification or progress toward certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (no weekend travel required)
