Job Description
We're looking for a self-motivated Solar Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the face of ARP Solar in the field — diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring our customers' systems are operating at peak performance. If you're a problem-solver who takes pride in your work and genuinely enjoys helping people, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform service calls, diagnostics, and repairs on residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage systems
- Operate independently to troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes
- Interact professionally with system owners, clearly explaining findings and solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance and quality inspections
- Document service visits accurately using company platforms
- Interface with equipment manufacturers to process warranty claims
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols on every job site
Qualifications
- Experience with solar PV systems and equipment strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- NABCEP certification or working toward certification is a plus
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (no weekend travel required)
