Job Description
We're looking for an experienced and safety-minded Solar Installation Team Lead to take charge in the field. In this role, you'll guide a crew through residential and commercial solar installations, setting the standard for quality, efficiency, and safety on every job site. If you're a natural leader who leads by example and takes pride in getting things done right, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of solar installers safely through daily tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for job site safety, enforcing protocols and modeling safe behavior at all times
- Interpret and execute project design plans and layouts in the field
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process
- Document installations accurately using company platforms
- Communicate effectively with project managers and operations staff to keep projects on track
Qualifications
- Experience leading a crew on a construction job site required
- Solar installation experience strongly preferred; relevant experience in construction, electrical, or roofing trades will be considered
- Strong commitment to job site safety — OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and layouts
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (no weekend travel required)
