We're seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. Murphy Family Inc, Wintersville location is growing in the tri-state area. We are the tri-state areas premiere Kubota and Stihl dealership. We are looking for a solid diesel technician to add to our shop and help us grow our service operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with tractors and small equipment, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and be able to perform various maintenance tasks. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Duties
- Maintain and repair a variety of equipment including tractors, skid steers, backhoes, front loaders and more.
- Perform heavy lifting and tire service as needed
- Assemble, weld, and transmit parts when necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Perform winter checks and regular maintenance efficiently and thoroughly
Skills
- Experience in dealership or similar setting preferred
- Proficient in equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to weld and assemble parts effectively
- Knowledge of diesel equipment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
