Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. We strive to be part of the change needed in daycare/Preschool Centers. NOTHING LESS THAN KINDNESS allowed inside Shining Stars Preschool & Daycare LLC.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children in our daycare setting. This position involves working with infants and toddlers, providing quality care, and supporting their developmental needs. The Daycare Teacher will engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

  • Educate and engage children through structured activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Implement classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social interaction and cooperation among peers.
  • Monitor and document children's progress in accordance with developmental milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with toddler care and infant care techniques.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere.
  • Experience or training in special education is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
