Job Description:

Data Scientist positions offered by Belcan Engineering Group, LLC (Cincinnati, OH). Responsible for identifying data sources, designing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and developing data storage solutions to support data analysis and decision-making. Responsible for the storage and management of data - including applying an understanding different data storage options, including data lakes, data warehouses, and databases, and choose the appropriate solution for their projects. Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into a suitable format for analysis. Set up cybersecurity measure using an understanding of data security protocols and ensuring that data is accessed and used responsibly, following relevant regulations and policies. Update hardware and software. Authenticate data and preserve data integrity; Use data visualization tools to present findings and communicate insights to stakeholders, which requires the application of data storage and retrieval for efficient reporting; and Collaborate with Data Engineers.

Minimum Requirements:

·        Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field of study, and 5 years of experience transforming data and designing reports connecting to data sources using reporting tools: Microsoft Power Platform and SAP Business Applications.

·        Position reports to Belcan HQ in Cincinnati, Ohio, and requires short-term travel, long-term travel, and/ or relocation to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
