Manager, Advanced Simulation positions offered by Dana Automotive Systems Group, LLC (Maumee, Ohio). Lead advanced simulation that encompasses several key responsibilities, including the implementation of AI/ML, 1D simulation, and automating simulation processes. Lead advanced simulation capability growth. Incorporate new simulation capabilities into technology development plans. Lead the development of simulation procedures and methodologies for the core engineering group. Work with test and simulation teams to improve design and development efficiency with the new process, including AI and Machine Learning. Contribute to, help define and lead applied R&D projects for drivetrain attribute analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align simulation objectives with business goals. Stay abreast of the latest simulation technologies and industry trends.

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of experience utilizing engineering principles.

Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following:

• Using Structure or CFD simulation software; and

• Testing and processing CAE correlation.

Must have 5 years of experience in:

• Utilizing AI/ML processes.

Position reports to Maumee, OH office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
