HR Business Partner / HR Manager | Northeast Ohio (Onsite)
We're partnering with a growing organization, to hire an HR Business Partner / HR Manager who will play a key role in supporting leadership and improving employee engagement across multiple locations.
This is a highly visible, hands-on HR role where you'll work directly with leadership to support a growing organization (180 employees) with multiple locations opening.
What You'll Do:
* Act as a true HR partner to leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
* Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, and coaching managers through complex situations
* Support and guide discipline and termination decisions
* Oversee performance review processes and help build employee recognition programs
* Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to improve retention
* Support compliance areas including FMLA, ADA, and workers' comp
* Help build and refine HR policies, procedures, and training programs
* Spend time onsite at different centers (2-3 days/week) building relationships with staff
What We're Looking For:
* 5-8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations
* Experience in education, healthcare, or another high-touch environment preferred
* Someone who is warm but direct and comfortable having difficult conversations
* Strong relationship-builder who can gain trust quickly with frontline staff
* Adaptable and collaborative-able to tailor approach vs. applying a one-size-fits-all mindset
* Tech-savvy (experience with HRIS systems like Paylocity is a plus)
