Controller | High-Impact Role | Consumer Products | Cleveland (Hybrid)

We're partnering with a growing consumer products company, to hire a Controller who will play a critical role in building and scaling the accounting function.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on, high-visibility role reporting directly to the CEO, where you'll have the ability to make an immediate impact and help shape the future of the finance organization.

Dayglow is a design-driven consumer brands platform with a portfolio of well-known products and retail partnerships. The company is in a transformation phase and looking for a strong accounting leader to help stabilize operations and build scalable processes.

What You'll Do:

* Own the full accounting function, including month-end close and financial reporting

* Build and implement processes, controls, and SOPs from the ground up

* Lead budgeting and forecasting, with ownership over P&L and GL-level analysis

* Perform cost accounting and margin/contribution analysis to support business decisions

* Identify gaps in current processes and drive operational improvements

* Oversee system transition (moving to QuickBooks Online + new ERP)

* Manage and mentor a Finance Analyst

What We're Looking For:

* Background as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or strong Senior Accountant ready to step up

* Experience in small to mid-sized, hands-on environments

* Strong cost accounting and margin analysis experience

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

* Someone who enjoys building, improving, and taking ownership
