Now Hiring: Facility Worker

Full-Time | 1st Shift | Occasional Evenings & Weekends

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (ESC) is seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Worker to

support maintenance and cleaning operations at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center (MOCC) and

Mid-Ohio ESC facilities, including various tenant spaces. This position is responsible for

maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment through routine custodial work, general

maintenance, and event support.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform daily cleaning and facility maintenance duties

 Assist with repair and building projects

 Support grounds upkeep and general exterior maintenance

 Assist with set-up and tear-down of events

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or GED required

 Valid driver’s license required

 Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facility maintenance or custodial work

 Experience in general maintenance required

 Experience in wiring, plumbing, lighting, construction, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical

work is a plus

 Must successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

 Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively (talking/hearing)

 Visual abilities including near/far acuity, depth perception, color vision, and field of

vision

 Occasional reaching with hands and arms

Additional Information:

 Must remain free of alcohol and non-prescribed controlled substances in the workplace

throughout employment
