Job Description

Job#: 3019878

Job Description:

Architect Level 1

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an AI Architect specializing in Agentic Platforms. This role will define the architectural foundations for an enterprise agent ecosystem. The position is responsible for designing and governing the architecture for agent-based integrations, agent registries, scoring and evaluation infrastructure, grounding patterns, and multi-agent orchestration platforms. The AI Architect will provide technical leadership to ensure agents are built safely and consistently with enterprise-grade reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and govern enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures for AI agent systems.
  • Design solutions for agent-based integrations, agent registries, and multi-agent orchestration platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership across engineering, product, data science, and security teams.
  • Ensure agents are built with enterprise-grade reliability, performance, and observability.
  • Integrate APIs and enterprise systems into agentic platforms and workflows.
  • Build AI-driven prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver complex AI platform architectures.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a focus on current AI projects rather than extensive architectural tenure. Candidates should have a deep understanding of AI technology.

Technical Skills:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI, agentic workflows, RAG, LLM-based integrations, or multi-agent systems.
  • Expertise with agentic frameworks and tooling (e.g., MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, autogen, crewai, OpenAI SDK).
  • Hands-on experience in modern software development and engineering practices.
  • Experience with cloud and distributed systems architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, observability, and performance.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and GCP, including Kubernetes, containerization, identity, networking, CI/CD, and API platforms.
  • Familiarity with AIOps/MLOps stacks (e.g., MLflow, model registries, vector DBs, semantic layers, feature stores).
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, risk, and Responsible AI (RAI) considerations for enterprise agent systems.
