Job Description
We are seeking an Infrastrucure Engineer with hands-on Amazon Connect and AWS cloud expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud architecture, automation, and scripting and a proven ability to deliver secure, reliable contact center solutions and streamline infrastructure through IaC and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and support Amazon Connect solutions including CCP, Contact Flows, Queues, and Routing Profiles.
* Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and related scripting to integrate services and automate workflows.
* Implement and manage AWS resources including S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
* Administer agents and hierarchies within Amazon Connect and maintain access and configuration standards.
* Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, scalable deployments.
* Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices to enable reliable releases.
* Troubleshoot complex issues, provide consultative guidance, and document resolutions and runbooks.
* Follow ITIL processes and manage work through Service Desk ticketing systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of hands-on Amazon Connect engineering, including CCP, Contact Flows, Queues/Routing, and agent administration.
* Cloud architecture experience on AWS with automation and scripting.
* Proficiency with AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools and practices.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
* Programming skills in JavaScript and Node.js, with working knowledge of Python related to AWS services.
* Familiarity with JSON and related data formats.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to provide clear consultative explanations.
* Willingness to work according to the US time schedule and be on-site five days per week in Westerville, OH.
Preferred Skills:
* Python development for automation and AWS integrations.
* AWS cloud infrastructure migration experience.
* Telephony and IVR experience for workforce and contact center solutions.
* AWS certifications.
Additional Details
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Work schedule: On-site, five days per week in Westerville, OH.
