Position Description: Director of Sales
Professional Pavement Services is a family owned, full-service paving, construction, and property maintenance contractor serving Central and Northern Ohio. We offer comprehensive, year-round construction and maintenance services, including asphalt, concrete, landscaping, power washing and winter operations. Job Overview
The Director of Sales drives company revenue growth by developing strategic sales plans, setting targets, and leading sales teams. They are responsible for forecasting, budgeting, expanding the customer base, and analyzing market trends to ensure competitive positioning. Key responsibilities include mentoring sales staff, optimizing sales processes, and reporting performance to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Division:Multiple areas in the Central and Northern Ohio region.
- TeamSupervision:Lead, mentor, andmanagethe sales team to maximize their performance and professional development.
- Project Coordination:Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Customer Service:Maintainstrong customerrelationshipsby addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Communication:Communicate effectively with operations to report progress, address concerns, and implement solutions promptly.
- Documenting:Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation tooptimizeefficiency.
- Establish:Sales targets,monitorprogress, and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Collaboration:Work with other departments to support business development and client retention strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:5-7 years of experience in sales, with a proventrack recordina leadershipor management role.
- Skills:Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Driver’s License:Valid driver’s licenserequired. Must meetan insurabilitystandard.
- Additional Requirements:Ability to pass a drug test as part of a drug-free workplace policy.
- Phone:Must have cellphone to clockin and out daily, log jobs, and follow other company communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Mainlyofficeenvironment.
- Occasional presence is neededoutdoors at residential, commercial, or municipal properties, depending on the project.
- Schedule is typically Monday through Friday.
Salary and Benefits
- Pay Range:Dependent uponpreviouswork experience and education.
- Benefits:
- Medical-partial percentage paid by the company after60 days
- Dental and vision after60 days, along with other ancillary benefits
- 401K with a company match after 6 months of employment
- Vesting PTOimmediately, with availability to use after90 days
- 90-day probation period
