Salary/Wage: $16.00–$20.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Property Accounting & Collections Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations related to property expenses and tenant accounts. This includes processing and paying bills accurately and on time, maintaining organized financial records, and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in QuickBooks.

This role involves tracking and categorizing expenses, reconciling accounts, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. The position also oversees rent collections by monitoring tenant accounts, identifying overdue payments, and following up with renters to ensure timely payment. Responsibilities may include making phone calls, sending notices, and coordinating with property management regarding delinquent accounts.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with QuickBooks, property management software, and tenant communication. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to handle sensitive financial matters professionally and consistently.

Familiarity with real estate or property management is a plus.
