Job Description for Shipping-Receiving-Driver

Shipping/Receiving/Driver duties may include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or materials. Receivers accept packaged and palleted goods, unpack and verify.

Shipping/Receiving Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shipping/receiving clerk to ensure smooth operations
• Unload trucks and deliveries promptly, sorting and stocking receivables accurately.

Driving Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle to transport goods to and from designated locations, typically within a specified radius.
• Load and unload vehicles as required ensuring that all items are secured and handled safely.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including keeping vehicle clean, to ensure safe operation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Detail-oriented
• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High School Diploma / GED
• Is able to stay late or come in early on occasion
• Need to have a valid driver’s license and be forklift certified

TPAM hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch (typically from 12pm-1pm). With the possibility of overtime.
