REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 6/25/26-11/1/26. Must agree to 35 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 70 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, criminal background check, license requirement and driver requirements.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Workers must be able to perform all duties with accuracy and efficiency. Worker will drive semi tractor-trailer truck to/from specified destinations; maneuver trucks into and out of loading and unloading positions. Worker must possess the ability to read a map, use GPS and successfully navigate to a specific location; complete electronic logbook; regularly climb up and down, on, into and out of tractor and trailers; complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection and paperwork on trucks and trailers. Clean soiled lights, windows and mirrors. Add oil and engine fuel, as needed. Must be able/willing to drive in snow and possible hazardous conditions. May also drive other types of company vehicles. Insurable driver's license required in order to drive company vehicles, including semi-trucks.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
