Full-Time | Home Daily | Overtime Available
Job Summary
We are a locally owned farm supply store seeking a dependable Truck Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering agricultural products to customers and operating equipment to load, unload, and handle materials. Applicants must be safety-minded, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver feed, fertilizer, seed, grain, livestock supplies, and other agricultural products
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow DOT regulations
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment for loading and unloading
- Assist with warehouse, yard, and inventory duties
- Maintain delivery paperwork and communicate with customers professionally
- Support busy seasonal periods including planting, harvest, and winter supply season
- Help maintain clean and organized trucks, yard, and facility
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License (CDL preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record
- Equipment operation experience preferred (forklift, skid steer, tractor, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Agricultural background or knowledge preferred
- Mechanical skills are a plus
Work Environment
- Outdoor and warehouse work in all seasons
- Exposure to dust, feed, fertilizer, and weather conditions
- Overtime required during peak seasons
