Job Title: Janitor

Position Overview
The Janitor plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment across warehouse, production, and common areas. This position supports operational efficiency by ensuring sanitation standards are met and safety hazards are minimized. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in a fast‑paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, production, and shared spaces through sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Empty and sanitize trash bins, recycling containers, and designated waste areas in accordance with company and environmental guidelines.
• Clean and restock restrooms, breakrooms, and locker rooms daily.
• Store cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Support waste segregation and recycling initiatives.
• Assist with spill cleanup and respond promptly to prevent safety hazards.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns (e.g., leaks, damaged flooring, malfunctioning equipment) to supervision.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures when applicable.
• Collaborate with warehouse and facilities teams to maintain cleanliness around docks, racking systems, and storage zones.
• Participate in facility audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or warehouse experience required; industrial environment experience preferred.

• Compensation for this role typically begins around $18.25 per hour, with final pay dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications.
