Compensation:
We offer top-tier pay based on experience level:
- Lateral Officers (5+ years): $40.79/hour + shift premium
- Lateral Officers (2–5 years): $37.46/hour + shift premium
- Certified Officers (less than 2 years): $34.06/hour + shift premium
- Shift differential of up to $1.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports
- Engage with the community to build trust and partnerships
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications:
- Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission (OPOTC) certification required
- Lateral applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement experience
- Candidates with less than 2 years of experience must complete the National Testing Network (NTN) exam
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
