POSITION SUMMARY



The Software Product Manager for the AI Product Configurator software will lead the strategy, software development, and lifecycle management of Vertiv's next-generation configuration software. This tool empowers partners and customers to rapidly design and configure solutions, producing accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and streamlining the sales and delivery process. The Product Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the configurator delivers exceptional user experience, technical accuracy, and business value.



RESPONSIBILITIES




* Define and own the product vision, software roadmap, and success metrics for the AI Product Configurator software




* Gather and prioritize requirements from internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.




* Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, sales, support) to deliver high-quality releases.




* Ensure the AI based configurator software enables rapid, accurate solution design and BOM generation.




* Drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and evolving market needs.




* Develop and maintain product documentation, training materials, and go-to-market collateral.




* Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.




* Represent the voice of the customer in all product decisions.




* Ensure compliance with Vertiv's Core Principles & Behaviors.



QUALIFICATIONS




* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.




* 5 plus years of software product management or software product owner experience



* Familiarity with B2B software tools or configurators.




* Strong understanding of solution configuration, BOM generation, and sales enablement processes.




* Strong Data Center domain knowledge in Facilities and IT products and how they function




* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.




* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.




* Experience working with partners and customers in a technical environment.




* Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

* Standard office environment; minimal physical demands.



TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED




* Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%).
