Seeking an experienced accounting professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience. This role supports financial reporting, general ledger activity, and month/year-end close while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Responsibilities also include assisting with budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and providing support for AP/AR, banking, and audits. The ideal candidate has strong Excel and ERP skills—preferably with Infor SyteLine—and thrives in a detail-oriented manufacturing environment.
Job requirements
- Financial Reporting & Close
- Enter and reconcile general ledger transactions
- Assist with month/year-end close, journal entries, and financial reports
- Analyze financial results and prepare KPI reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Operational Support
- Provide support for AP/AR, collections, and banking transactions
- Manage Positive Pay and assist with tax documentation
- Collaborate with departments to maintain accurate records
- Support the Controller, auditors, and finance team
- Budgeting & Analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership
- Compliance & Systems supporting audits and maintain internal controls
- Assist with ERP (Infor SyteLine) reporting and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience (required)
- Experience in a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Experience with Infor SyteLine ERP highly preferred
- Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience
- Cost accounting exposure is a plus but not required
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical ability
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Shift: 1 st (Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm)
Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 a year based on experience
