A manufacturing company is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain stamping dies. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

Job Duties: 

• Perform precision machining: operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related tool room equipment
• Assemble, fit, repair, build and maintain dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Adhere to quality and safety standards in work practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification:

• Must have experience with precision machining and tool room operations
• Tool and die technical training, certification, or apprenticeship preferred
• The ability to ensure tooling meets defined tolerances is needed
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must have the ability to pay a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently, safely, and abide by all company standards, policies, and procedures
