Volt is immediately hiring a Distribution Associate in Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
As a Distribution Associate you will be responsible for:
* Picking orders accurately using an RF scanner.
* Packaging finished product and loading outbound trailers.
* Retrieving and transporting materials according to daily work schedules.
* Performing basic warehouse functions on the computer.
* Communicating effectively in a team-based, high demand environment.
* Maintaining clean and organized work areas.
* Following customer-specific instructions and safety procedures.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time opportunity.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Overtime available on Saturdays)
* 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
* 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00AM
The ideal candidate will have:
* Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision
* Strong work ethic and self-motivation
* Basic math skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Willingness and ability to complete training on warehouse equipment, including: fork lifts, standing crown pick trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
* Ability to work at heights of 20 feet while wearing fall protection.
* Ability to climb stairs and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
