Job Title: Data Engineer/ Architect III

Location: Onsite- Cincinnati Ohio

Pay Range: $61-$70 hr

Start- May 4, 2026

Data Engineer / Data Management Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data management systems that support analytics, reporting, and enterprise data needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, developing high‑performance models, and integrating modern data technologies into existing environments.

You will work closely with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists to ensure data systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements. This position also involves researching new ways to leverage data and continuously improving data quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems
  • Build high‑performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes
  • Ensure all data systems meet business and industry requirements
  • Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies
  • Develop processes for data mining, modeling, and data production
  • Create custom software components and analytics applications
  • Research new opportunities for leveraging existing data
  • Use a variety of programming languages and tools to connect systems
  • Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists
  • Implement and update disaster recovery procedures
  • Recommend improvements to enhance data reliability and quality

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Experience programming or architecting backend systems (Java, J2EE, etc.)

  • Financial industry experience

  • Advanced SQL skills
