Position: School Psychologist (to serve Washington Court House City Schools)
Location: Washington Court House City Schools | Southern Ohio Educational Service Center
General Description:
Under administrative direction, the school psychologist contributes to required evaluations of children with special needs or disabilities and other non-identified children with suspected special needs or disabilities; interprets evaluation results; participates in the determination of eligibility for special education; and consults with families, teachers, and administrators relating to the education and/or mental health of children. The school psychologist may provide support as an Integrated-Multi-Tiered System of Supports (I-MTSS) Team Member on the district’s I-MTSS team and may work with the Early Childhood Community Partners to provide support in a team approach. Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree.
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist Certificate/License.
- National Certified School Psychologist Association (preferred).
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
