REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 7/1/26-11/30/26. Must agree to 36 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 2 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 60 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, criminal background check.


JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Workers will provide supervision to crew members in the farm laborer/hand harvester positions, monitor workers to ensure that safety regulations are followed, warning or disciplining those who violate safety regulations. First-line supervisors have no authority to directly hire or discharge workers. However, first-line supervisors may be instructed by management to give warnings or take disciplinary action against workers not following protocols. Will oversee the quality of work performed by the workers. Workers will be responsible for providing field workers with necessary water supply, and work tools. Workers may be required to assist in the completion of the fieldwork being performed. Workers may be required to operate farm vehicles to move between field locations. Workers will be required to communicate with other supervisors and farm management to determine production requirements, conditions of equipment and supplies, and work schedules. Workers will supervise the following activities: Harvest cabbage, corn and squash.


EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:


BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.


HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.


TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).


WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.


TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
