Minimum Starting Salary: $18.13/hour

What You Will Do – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Employee performs specialized clerical duties under the supervision of the Director of Procurement & Contracts Management, necessary to the daily operations of the department or division, such as filing, copying, preparing requests for information/documents, compiling of data, and mail sorting (not inclusive); may perform specialized clerical tasks requiring cross-referencing of data and information as required.

  • Assist the Procurement & Contracts Management Department with various clerical tasks, including but not limited to, scheduling meetings, new vendor and placement provider setup in various systems, updating and maintaining vendor contact information and procurement distribution lists, assist and track electronic payment forms from vendors, tracking vendor quotes to ensure compliance with purchasing policy, assists with maintaining and organizing electronic contract files, tracking of cash equivalent orders, clothing reimbursements and allowances, scanning and tracking of various documents, such as product receipts, client supply requests, and various licensing/insurance dates and other documents, tracking of contract expiration dates and providing notifications to contract staff, collecting and tracking of provider data, assists with formal solicitation (RFPs and ITBs, etc.) bid meetings, bid openings, maintaining all files related to a solicitation
  • Assists the Procurement & Contracts Management Department with inventory and ordering of department supplies, assists with stamping in all mail and distributing to responsible party.

What will make you successful:

  • Ability to calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages and to read and write common vocabulary plus 3 mos. exp. in office practices and procedures; or equivalent

  • High school graduate or equivalent; minimum of one-year clerical experience or equivalent; business school/college may be substituted for part of exp
