The role also requires analyzing test results, prescribing corrective lenses or medications, maintaining equipment, and working with staff to meet patient needs. Additionally, the position involves recording patient data, participating in training, and referring patients to specialists when necessary.

*Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) required from an accredited educational institution

*Current state optometry license, valid and in good standing

*Minimum two years experience working as a practicing optometrist

*Solid working knowledge of all ophthalmic equipment needed to conduct examinations

*Current medical knowledge of testing and treatments for eye injuries and diseases

*Continued commitment to remaining up to date on the latest research and techniques
