Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Rig Management LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented maintenance staff member to join our property management team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a well-rounded knowledge of home repairs and maintenance. Maintenance staff member will handle small to medium issues with residential and commercial properties, ensuring our properties remain in excellent condition and our tenants receive prompt, high quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Perform repairs/maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC troubleshooting.

·       Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally, addressing tenant concerns efficiently.

·       Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.

·       Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize and complete work orders.

·       Assist in maintaining property grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and trash removal as needed

·       Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all tasks performed.

·       Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documenting repairs and materials used.

·       Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and report reordering needs to the property manager.

·       Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.

·       Provide exceptional customer services to tenants, fostering positive relationships and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

·       Proven experience in residential/commercial property maintenance, with a strong understanding of general repairs and troubleshooting.

·       Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.

·       Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·       Excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach.

·       Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

·       High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance-related fields are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces.

·       Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

·       Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
