Position: Data Engineering Developer (Fairfield, Ohio)

Duties: Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support on-premise and cloud-based data warehouses. Identify and troubleshoot ETL process issues, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions. Work with Data Warehouse Architects and Business Analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical ETL solutions. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with team members, and follow coding standards to promote high-quality development. Monitor and maintain data workflows to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and system performance. Stay current with industry best practices in ETL development, data warehousing, and cloud technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration efforts, deployment processes, and system improvements.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience as Data Engineer working in data warehousing, ETL development, or Oracle database environments. Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): data warehouse modeling methodologies, including Star Schema and Data Vault; Oracle databases and development tools; cloud computing environments (AWS); Python for scripting or data processing tasks; SQL skills, with the ability to query and manipulate data; and database design principles and data integration best practices.
