Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months with possible extension for the duration

Overview
We are seeking a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer to support a mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) client. This role focuses on large-scale systems integration and modernization using Oracle technologies, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building SOA-based integrations, supporting enterprise applications, and working in Agile environments to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Description
* Design, develop, and maintain SOA applications using Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB/ESB).
* Build and support SOAP/REST-based integration services.
* Develop integration solutions for logistics, supply chain, and enterprise systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
* Support system interfaces across Oracle EBS and middleware platforms.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities.
* Contribute to system design discussions and solution improvements.
* Create technical documentation, mapping specifications, and test artifacts.
* Ensure compliance with DoD standards, cybersecurity, and data protection policies.
* Follow quality assurance and configuration management processes.
Requirements
* 4+ years of experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB/ESB).
* Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT, and web services.
* Experience with Java, PL/SQL, or similar technologies.
* Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
* Experience working in Agile environments.
* Bachelor's degree.
* U.S. Citizenship required.
